Frequently Asked Questions
How do customers book a job with you?
Booking is simple. You can call us directly, send us an email, or fill out the quick contact form on our website to request a call back. We’ll get back to you promptly to discuss your needs and arrange a convenient time.
Do you tidy up after the job is done?
Absolutely. We treat every property with respect and always tidy up before we leave.
How often should a landlord get electrical safety certificates updated?
Landlord electrical safety certificates (EICRs) should be renewed every 5 years or every change of tenant, whichever comes first. This ensures your property remains compliant with legal requirements and your tenants are kept safe.
Do customers need to be home while you work, or can you do jobs independently?
We’re trusted by homeowners, landlords, and businesses alike. We’re happy to complete the work independently, as long as we have access. We’ll keep you updated and ensure everything is left safe and secure.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept payment by cash or bank transfer, whichever is most convenient for you.
Do you offer staged payments for bigger projects?
Yes, we do. For larger jobs such as rewires or solar installations, we usually request payment after the first fix, with the balance due on completion. Don’t worry – everything will be clearly explained and agreed before any work begins.
Do you install CCTV systems?
Yes. We can design and install CCTV systems for both homes and businesses, helping you improve security and peace of mind.
Do you liaise with other trades (builders, plumbers, roofers) if the work requires it?
Yes. We often work alongside other trades on projects such as new builds, extensions, or renovations. This helps keep everything running smoothly and ensures your project is completed to a high standard.
Can you install smart home technology (lighting, heating controls, etc.)?
Yes. We can install a range of smart home solutions including lighting, heating controls, and energy-saving systems – giving you more convenience, comfort, and control.
Do you liaise with other trades (builders, plumbers, roofers) if the work requires it?
Yes. We often work alongside other trades on projects such as new builds, extensions, or renovations. This helps keep everything running smoothly and ensures your project is completed to a high standard.
Will I need to turn off power while you work?
Yes. For most jobs the power will need to be switched off while we work to keep our team and your property safe. We’ll let you know in advance and keep disruption to a minimum.
Do you provide certificates after all completed work?
Yes. On completion, we issue the relevant electrical certificates for your records, giving you peace of mind that all work meets current safety regulations.
